7 Reasons Not to Watch Sports

  1. You want to spend time with your friends and family…with a beer in your hand.
  2. You want to actually exercise and get healthy…with or without a beer in your hand.
  3. You actually might want to start playing that musical instrument, developing a hobby, revisiting existing hobbies, ski, swim…with or without a beer in your hand. 
  4. So you won’t have to listen to post-game statements like, “we have to take a one-game-at-a-time approach,” or “we had a great team victory, but we have to get better each game” or “we need to get better and be more consistent.”  Crap, who comes up with this?  Why is it the same every year? 
  5. Because you don’t want to drop three-figures on tickets and concessions…even for nose-bleed seats.
  6. Because you don’t want to spend three hours in stressful traffic jams to and from the stadium.
  7. Because you know that players may make more in one week than you will this year…and it all begins again for you on Monday…so why blow this weekend watching sports?
